An overqualified outsider, he compulsively makes experimental improvisatorial work intuitively
in a metamodern idiom informed by a sincere project of ongoing tribute to European Modernist tendencies in oil painting and photography, alongside paradoxical and dichotomous ironic and avant garde postmodern tendencies in sculpture, music, and video art, through which Omar explores symbolism from the unconscious brought to light by surrealist strategies, and captures the beauty in the quotidian; often using traditional, redundant and archaic formats, as well as incorporating digital media in phone photography and video work that incorporates pathos and bathos in equal measure while reflecting a sincere interest in documenting the passing moment.” – [120 words]
